The Epoxy CHi Rho communion pyx is made by the artists of Cathedral Art. This one can hold 6-9 hosts, measures 1 9/16 inch diameter, 1/2 inch deep, polished gold plated cast, and is packed in a brown felt burse.

This communion pyx is especially for sick calls to carry the Eucharist, the sacrament of Holy Communion, or Viaticum, given by a parish priest or Eucharistic minister.

New pyxes can also be a rosary case, an excellent gift idea. (Obviously, once a communion pyx is used as a pyx, it cannot be used for anything else but is regarded as a sacred vessel.)
