This beautiful Red Chi Rho Communion Pyx was made in the USA by the artists of Cathedral Art. This one can hold 6-9 hosts, measures 1-9/16 inch diameter, 1/2 inch deep, polished gold plated cast, and is packed in a soft brown felt burse.

All the pyxes come in a little brown felt burse. All are made in the USA.

This communion pyx is especially for sick calls to carry the Eucharist, the sacrament of Holy Communion, or Viaticum, given by a parish priest or Eucharistic minister.

New pyxes can also be a rosary case, an excellent gift idea. (Obviously, once a communion pyx is used as a pyx, it cannot be used for anything else but is regarded as a sacred vessel.)
